DR. HAYDER MAHDI
Dr. Hayder Mahdi is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist. He obtained his dental degree from Jordan in 1997. He moved to Canada in 2008 and had the opportunity to work with Kodak/Carestream Dental Imaging company, managing the dental digital business in the Canadian West Coast. Dr. Mahdi decided to join the Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology program after he became inspired by the new CBCT technology and how it significantly changed the diagnosis and treatment planning in different dental fields. Dr. Mahdi obtained his MSc. in Oral Radiology in 2017 from the University of Toronto. Since then, he worked at Canaray Dental Imaging Centers. For Dr. Mahdi, Oral Radiology is not just a profession rather, it is a mission which involves active interaction with referring dentists to understand their specific needs and help them optimize their imaging standards and radiologic interpretation. To achieve his goal, Dr. Mahdi decided to start his own dental imaging consultation and reporting services for Ontario dentists.
Currently, Dr. Mahdi is an active member of the following organizations: Canadian Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial radiology (CAMOR), American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial radiology (ABOMR), The Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC), Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO).
